Hello, my name is Jamie Devine. I am 20 years old and I race a Triumph 675 with J.S.T Racing. I started road racing in late 2005 on a Honda CBR 600 because I used to go along with my dad and fancied a go myself. My Dad built me a bike, and I did a few test days before entering a race with the Wirral 100 club late on in 2005, finishing 5th in place, which I loved, and couldn’t wait for the next season. In 2006, I entered the Wirral 100 Formula 600 championship in which I came 2nd overall. My first serious attempt was last year when I entered Preston & District Rookie class, Preston & District Steel Frame, and Cheshire & Nantwich F600 Class. I was fortunate enough to win all four championships.

Last year I moved up to Powerbikes, hoping to achieve the same sort of results, pushing the boundaries and trying to step into National Superstock, or the R1 Cup Championship for 2009, which is covered by national broadcasters, ITV and Sky.

This is no easy task, and took a lot of commitment and hard work, not to mention lots of money! Eager to take on the task, and a new year, as always, our team need help to further our chances with sponsorship.

For this year, 2009, we are competing in the Trimuph Triple Challenge to gain experience on the new bike. A Triumph 675. We’re also hoping to compete in some bigger, national championships, namely Derby Phoenix, New Era and MRO, depending on finances.
